Green House Podcast Episode: A Comprehensive Roadmap for Meaningful Reform in Nursing Homes

GHP eldercare podcast

The Green House Project (GHP) has released an episode of its Elevate Eldercare podcast series, "A Comprehensive Roadmap for Meaningful Reform in Nursing Homes."

GHP created a podcast, Elevate Eldercare, in an effort to bring together thought leaders, activists and advocates in the field of aging services to foster thoughtful discourse and diverse perspectives aimed at elevating eldercare.

In the episode, "A Comprehensive Roadmap for Meaningful Reform in Nursing Homes," Dr. David Grabowski, a professor of health care policy at Harvard Medical School, shines a light on the urgent need for comprehensive nursing home reform in the U.S. He discusses his work with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Committee and their recently release report on nursing homes, The National Imperative to Improve Nursing Home Quality, unpacking the report and giving his perspective on the recommendations.
