Health Affairs Event Recording: Lunch & Learn - How Can the New Age-Friendly Hospital Measure Transform the Inpatient Experience
Health Affairs held a special lunch and learn virtual event May 27 on how the new Age-Friendly Hospital Measure aims to improve the quality and experience of inpatient care for older Americans.
The virtual conversation highlighted how this new measure can shape better hospital experiences for aging patients across the country. The speakers were:
- Clifford Ko, Senior Vice President of the American College of Surgeons’ (ACS’s) Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. He has served in advisory roles at the World Health Organization, the Institute of Medicine, the National Quality Forum, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
- Katherine Ornstein, Professor in the School of Nursing at Johns Hopkins University with joint appointments at the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
