Hospital at Home Users Group Webinar: Straight Talk - CMS Discusses the Acute Hospital Care at Home Initiative
The Hospital at Home Users Group and American Academy of Home Care Medicine will host a webinar addressing common questions about Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for providing acute hospital-level care in the home.
Using clinical vignettes, the conversation will address common questions about transport and emergency medical services coordination and clarify CMS requirements related to response time, discharge and in-home visits, home safety screenings and caregiver considerations, among other topics. Speakers will also discuss the role of clinical judgment and operational flexibility within the requirements of the Acute Hospital Care at Home initiative.
