2025 IHI AFHS Online Course with Coaching Cohort 2

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is running the second cohort of its in-depth Age-Friendly Health Systems (AFHS) Online Course with Coaching for healthcare professionals that starts in September.

The Online Course with Coaching (OCC) is a nine-week program that teaches the elements of the 4Ms Framework (What Matters, Medication, Mentation and Mobility) and its implementation in delivering age-friendly care across various healthcare setting, such as hospitals, clinics nursing homes and home health agencies. The curriculum combines self-directed sessions and live virtual instruction. It also prepares participants for the CMS Age-Friendly Hospital Measure.

Participants can earn continuing education credits. The OCC starts September 17 and costs $549. Scholarship applications are due September 3.
