Joint Meeting of ACL's Family Caregiving Advisory Councils
The U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL) is holding a joint meeting of the Recognize, Assist, Include, Support, and Engage (RAISE) Family Caregiving Advisory Council and the Advisory Council to Support Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (SGRG) on April 29.
The purpose of the meeting is to review updates to the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers and vote changes into federal clearance. The agenda also includes a panel discussion on implementing the strategy, featuring ACL Principal Deputy Administrator Mary Lazare and philanthropic leaders.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person attendance in Washington, D.C., and a livestream available for remote participants.
Registration is not required to join the livestream. The public meeting access link will be live five minutes prior to the meeting start time. Closed captioning will be available.
Additional details will be shared in July, and meeting information and materials will be posted in advance on the RAISE and SGRG webpages.
