Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition Conversation: Strengthening Resident Councils - Insights from Connecticut
The Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition is hosting a Coalition Conversation webinar featuring lessons from an 18-month pilot on strengthening nursing home resident councils in Connecticut.
Resident councils can be a catalyst for improving nursing home quality. Panelists will discuss the Strengthening Resident Councils initiative, including how partnerships among resident leaders, nursing homes and Long-Term Care Ombudsman programs can support meaningful resident engagement.
Participants will learn about pathways and tools to strengthen their resident councils and to work in partnership with the Moving Forward Coalition.
