Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition Webinar Recording: How Nursing Homes Can Get Involved in the Age-Friendly Movement
Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition hosted a webinar February 6 on "How Nursing Homes Can Get Involved in the Age-Friendly Movement." The recording is now available.
Many may associate the Age-Friendly Health Systems movement, an initiative of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and JAHF, with hospitals and primary care providers, but nursing homes can also play a vital role in the initiative.
Webinar speakers discussed how nursing homes can join the Age-Friendly Health System movement, bolster age-friendly ecosystems and how participation in the Age-Friendly movement will advance national nursing home transformation as envisioned by Moving Forward.
Speakers included:
- Amanda Meier, BSW, MA, Project Manager, Age-Friendly Health Systems Team, IHI
- Jody Shue, Past Executive Director, Age-Friendly Institute
- Megan Wolfe, Senior Policy Development Manager, Trust for America's Health
