NASEM Workshop: Mechanisms for Organizational Behavior Change to Address the Needs of People Living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) is holding a workshop May 23 - May 24, "Mechanisms for Organizational Behavior Change to Address the Needs of People Living with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias."

Speakers will examine mechanisms and organizational behavior change initiatives to improve care and better support the needs of people living with Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease-Related Dementias. The workshop will feature invited presentations and panel discussions on possible health outcomes and care processes that are highly responsive to hospital organizational behavioral changes, such as:

  • Healthcare-associated infections
  • In-facility safety
  • Mentation management services
  • Care transitions
  • Person-centered care

This will be a hybrid workshop, it will take place in person (Washington, D.C.) and will also be a live webcast.
