NASHP Webinar Recording: How States Are Advancing Caregiver Support through Multisector Plans on Aging

NASHP CHCS Webinar MP As September 17

The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) and the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) hosted a webinar on how states are using multisector plans for aging (MPAs) to strengthen support for family caregivers. The recording and slides are now available on the event page.

Fourteen states are implementing MPAs, and more than half of all states are exploring or developing one. Every state MPA released to date includes strategies to support family caregivers.

During the webinar, officials from North Carolina, Texas and Vermont will share how their states are translating MPA goals into concrete actions for caregivers and discuss implementation lessons and practical insights for other states.

NASHP has also released a brief, "How States Are Leveraging Multisector Plans for Aging to Support Caregivers," with findings from five states.
