NASHP Webinar: Supporting Equity and Caregiving in State Aging Plans
The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) is holding a webinar on October 2 on "Supporting Equity and Caregiving in State Aging Plans."
States have opportunities to utilize state plans on aging and master plans on aging to reduce health disparities and increase support for older adults, people with disabilities, and their family caregivers. This webinar will highlight findings and commonalities within the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers and federal initiatives on supporting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. Recent Ohio and California initiatives to support family caregivers and equity in aging and well-being within state plans on aging will also be shared.
