This group is designed to support those implementing CMS's Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) model (both New and Established), regardless of the specific dementia care approach, by tackling real-world challenges in a collaborative setting. The GUIDE Affinity Group Series will be held every two weeks from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST on the following dates:
- July 23
- August 6
- August 20
- September 3
- September 17
- October 1
- October 15
- October 29
- November 12
- November 26
- December 10
Led by UCLA’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Program, each session offers a deep dive into practical topics like beneficiary recruitment, staffing strategies, community partnerships, billing, and more. The format includes 30 minutes of expert-led discussion followed by 30 minutes of open Q&A with peers.
Additional affinity group sessions, hosted by NDCC, are also available for those interested in learning more about specific dementia care models and implementation approaches. These meetings include Aging Brain Care (ABC) Program – Current Adopter, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care (ADC) Program, Benjamin Rose Institute (BRI) Care Consultation, Care Ecosystem, Integrated Memory Care, and Maximizing Independence (MIND) at Home.
