Programs & Opportunities
- Diverse Elders Coaliton: Regional Video Shooter RFP
The Diverse Elders Coalition is seeking videographers in California, Atlanta and Philadelphia for a caregiver storytelling campaign. Selected videographers will conduct one half-day, documentary-style interview shoot with a caregiver in their region for a fixed fee of $1,000 per shoot. Proposals are due August 31. - U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: Older Adults Home Modification Grant Program
The HUD program supports experienced nonprofit organizations, state and local governments and public housing authorities in providing home modifications that improve safety, accessibility and functional ability for low-income older adults. Applications are due August 31. - IMPACT Collaboratory: James L. Rudolph Career Development Award Program
The IMPACT Collaboratory will fund up to two awards of up to $240,000 over 24 months. The program supports emerging investigators preparing to lead embedded pragmatic clinical trials that improve care for people living with dementia and their care partners. Applications are due September 10. - The American Hospital Association and West Health: National Learning Collaborative on Aging Care
A six-month implementation collaborative helping hospitals and health systems use electronic health records to automate, standardize and scale evidence-based care practices for older adults. - USAging: National Caregiver Champion Collaborative
A national collaborative for Aging Network providers and partners who administer caregiver services and supports. Participants share successful strategies, discuss lessons learned and explore emerging research, programs and partnerships.
Call for Papers
- Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Age-Friendly Practice, Education, and Policy for Care of Older Adults: Submissions are invited for work focused on age-friendly practice, education and policy for the care of older adults. Submission deadline is September 1.
- The Journal of Advanced Home Medicine: New open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and commentary on the delivery of acute and advanced medical care at home. Submissions for the journal are open.
