Next Avenue Virtual Townhall on How To Be A Patient
Next Avenue and The John A. Hartford Foundation (JAHF) will host a virtual townhall event, How To Be a Patient, on Facebook Live on Thursday, December 12, 2019.
Are you getting what you want — and need — out of your health care? We're taught so many things in life, but who teaches us how to be a good patient and advocate for ourselves in health care? Next Avenue will be joined by nurse and author, Sana Goldberg, to answer viewer questions and discuss how many of us have to ‘unlearn’ certain assumptions about doctor visits and be prepared to navigate what can become a complicated process, especially for managing multiple chronic illnesses.
