Nominations Open for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2022 Business Innovation Award
The Aging and Disability Business Institute (Business Institute) is now accepting nominations for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2022 Business Innovation Award. The deadline for nominations is May 6.
The John A. Hartford Foundation Business Innovation Award highlights the successes of community-based organizations (CBOs) that are partnering and contracting with health care entities, such as hospitals and health plans, with the goal of spurring the replication of these partnerships nationwide. Each year the award recognizes one or more CBO—health care contracts or partnerships that are improving health outcomes and/or quality of life for older adults and/or persons with disabilities. Award recipients will have demonstrated the pursuit of bold, transformative initiatives designed to integrate health care and long-term services and supports and increase the sustainability of their organization.
This year, the Business Institute is especially inviting applicants to highlight innovations in the following areas: advance care planning, caregiving, COVID-19 response, and those addressing issues of health equity or health disparities in the context of health care contracts.
All recipients will be presented with a plaque, and the first-place winner will receive a monetary award of up to $5,000 during the USAging’s Annual Conference and Tradeshow July 10-13. Learn about past recipients of the award on the Business Institute website.
Submit your nominations by Friday, May 6.
