U Penn School of Nursing Webinar Series: Caregiving NOW
The NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in partnership with NewCourtland is hosting a webinar series, "Caregiving NOW." The first webinar is June 8.
The Caregiving NOW series is taking a closer look at the caregiving crisis in the U.S. and the innovative solutions reshaping the caregiving landscape. Each session features innovators and thought leaders from multiple sectors engaged in the caregiving space in a moderated conversation.
Over the series, the Caregiving NOW Initiative will:
- Engage a diverse group of thought leaders in exploring solutions to the nation’s growing caregiving crisis.
- Conduct a research review to identify priority opportunities to improve support for unpaid and paid caregivers.
- Implement and evaluate the effects of selected innovative solutions on caregivers’ experiences and outcomes.
- Execute a communication strategy aimed at widely disseminating immediate and longer-term opportunities to enhance programs, services, and policies aimed at improving the lives of caregivers.
