NIA Virtual Summit Recording and Report: 2020 National Research Summit on Care, Services, and Supports for Persons with Dementia and Their Caregivers

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) held a virtual summit series, "2020 National Research Summit on Care, Services, and Supports for Persons with Dementia and Their Caregivers." The virtual summit recordings and report are available.

This summit series included research presentations, panelist remarks, moderated discussion (with live Q&A), and a presentation on the draft research gaps and opportunities. These draft gaps and opportunities, developed by the Summit Steering Committee with input from stakeholder groups, are organized into six themes and are intended to identify important potential areas for future research in the fields of dementia care and caregiving.

The dates of the Summit Virtual Meetings Series were July 10, July 21 and August 13, 2020, and the Summit report has been published. .
