The Health Resources & Services Administration has published a report, "Preparing the Current and Future Health Care Workforce for Interprofessional Practice in Sustainable, Age-Friendly Health Systems." This is the 17th Annual Report authored by the Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary Community-Based Linkages (ACICBL) to the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services and to the Congress.

The report talks about the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative and the 4Ms Framework. "The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is uniquely positioned to promote the spread of Age-Friendly Health Systems. These areas are addressed in HRSA’s Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP)." JAHF supports the GWEP Coordinating Center through a grant to the American Geriatrics Society (AGS).

"The recommendations provided in this 17th report of the ACICBL are designed to promote broad changes within the health care system to advance age-friendly practices, train the health care workforce in age-friendly care, and improve the care of older adults, while also facilitating the reduction of burnout and the promotion of wellness and resilience among health care providers."
