Publishing and Disseminating Lessons on Innovative Health Care Models for an Aging Population

Grant Summary

The Foundation will partner with Health Affairs, the country’s leading health policy journal, to advance best practices in the care of older adults and position aging and health policy issues as central to the national health care dialogue. Over the two years of this renewal grant, Health Affairs will convene health care experts to inform the content of the journal’s Aging and Health series, solicit and publish at least 10-14 peer-reviewed papers on geriatric models of care and related topics, hold a briefing in Washington, DC, and leverage the journal’s media and social media outreach to disseminate articles. As a new component of the project, there will also be a featured page on the Health Affairs website highlighting the series.
