Generations Now: ASA RISE Article Series
The American Society on Aging's (ASA) Generations Now platform has released an ASA RISE article series featuring equity-related aging topics written by ASA RISE Fellows and others.
In a new article, "Feeling Belonging: What On Aging 2026 Reminded Me About the Power of Connection," Patrice L. Dickerson, PhD, ASA’s Senior Equity Strategy Director, talks about the importance of belonging in the field of aging—and how she felt it deeply at this year's ASA conference.
The John A. Hartford Foundation is collaborating with ASA to advance equity in aging by supporting ASA RISE, a 20-week social justice and leadership program for rising leaders of color in aging, and through the development of dissemination of equity-related, partnership-based thought leadership through ASA's Generations platform.
