Society for Hospital Medicine Wins Eisenberg Award

The National Quality Forum (NQF) and The Joint Commission have named the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) the recipient of the 2011 John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award for Innovation in Patient Safety and Quality at the National Level, citing its Hartford Foundation-funded Project BOOST (Better Outcomes for Older Adults through Safe Transitions).
