ADBI Webinar: Health Care Contracting in the Age of COVID-19

The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a)-led Aging and Disability Business Institute (ADBI) and the American Society on Aging are holding a webinar on July 29, "Health Care Contracting in the Age of COVID-19."

As never before, COVID-19 starkly demonstrates that health and prevention happen in the community. Organizations with close ties to vulnerable populations, at the neighborhood level, have an opportunity to prove the value of social health interventions to health care partners. This webinar will explore real-world examples of contracts between community-based organizations and health care entities that are responsive to the current crisis and true to the adaptability of the Aging Network.

Presenters include:

  • James Stowe, MS, PhD, gerontologist focused on developing the systems, technology, and community relationships that secure the health and well-being of vulnerable populations.
  • Jennifer Raymond, Chief Strategy Officer for Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, an Area Agency on Aging in Massachusetts (MA), and a founder and director of the MA Healthy Living Center of Excellence.
