Amy Berman to Receive AAHPM Presidential Citation

Amy Berman, senior program officer for the John A. Hartford Foundation has been selected to receive the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) Presidential Citation Award. AAHPM Presidential Citations are awarded to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to the field of hospice and palliative medicine. Ms. Berman is recognized for her critical voice advancing the message in both your personal and professional life – through personal outreach to others living with chronic illness and numerous presentations and writings about health care choices, palliative care and implications for patients, practice and policy. The award will be conferred at the AAHPM Annual Assembly on March 12-15, 2014 in San Diego, CA.
