Article Highlights 3 MSTAR Scholars' Experience at UConn
The University of Connecticut Center on Aging at the UConn Health Center was the research home for not just one but three Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) scholars this summer. Robin Moiseff, Jing Sun, and Timnit Tekeste are all second-year medical students who were selected for the prestigious program administered by the American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) and the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes on Health, and funded by the John A. Hartford Foundation. The program is designed to help medical students pursue their career interests in aging-related research and clinical topics.
