Bipartisan Policy Center Webinar: Aging of America—Improving Long-Term Care, Nutrition, and Housing for Older Adults
The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) is hosting a webinar examining policy solutions to strengthen access to affordable long-term care, nutrition and housing for older adults.
As the U.S. population ages, gaps in these essential supports are affecting health outcomes, increasing pressure on family caregivers and raising costs for public programs. Panelists will explore persistent challenges, innovative state approaches and evidence-based solutions that can help older adults age with dignity.
The webinar is the first in a three-part series launching BPC’s multi-year Aging of America Initiative.
Opening remarks will be provided by:
- Lisa Harootunian, Managing Director, BPC
- Rani E. Snyder, President, JAHF
Panelists:
- Alison Barkoff, Hirsh Health Law & Policy Associate Professor and Director of the Hirsh Health Law & Policy Program, George Washington University; former Acting Administrator and Assistant Secretary for Aging
- Kim Fitzgerald, CEO, Cathedral Square/SASH
