Careers in Aging Twitter Chat April 7
Help us promote Careers in Aging Week April 2-8, 2017.
People are living longer and the number of older adults is increasing. The demand for professionals with expertise in aging is growing rapidly. The John A. Hartford Foundation would like your help in promoting Careers in Aging Week, which is taking place from April 2 to 8, 2017. The event is an annual joint venture between The Gerontological Society of America and its educational branch, the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education—and observed by universities and colleges with special events in their communities across the world.
Careers in Aging Week activities provide important information about the wide range of professions in the field of aging and aging research, raise awareness about older populations and their needs, and inform students and the public of the many academic programs available to get one started on a career path.
We are proud to bring Careers in Aging Week to the Foundation’s community. Help us spread the word about the wide variety of careers in the field of aging by joining the conversation on Twitter with #CIAW!
Also consider sharing your selfie! Click here to print out a CIAW selfie sign. Write your response on the sign and snap a photo holding the sign. Share it on social media using #CIAW or email it to ciaw@geron.org.
And join the Twitter chat Friday, April 7, at 1 p.m. EDT, also by following #CIAW.
