Caregiving Documentary Film: Premiering on PBS

Caregiving documentary 560

PBS and WETA Washington, D.C., have announced that Caregiving, the documentary created with executive producer Bradley Cooper highlighting the state and stakes of providing care in America, will premiere June 24 on PBS. The film is also available to stream on PBS beginning May 27.

Caregiving is a two-hour film that centers on the personal, everyday experiences of caregivers. Caregivers require differing types and levels of support. As the number of caregivers declines, and the number of individuals requiring care in our country increases, the documentary details challenges individual caregivers face as well as innovations for 21st century caregiving.

The project includes 25+ original digital short films featuring stories of care on Caregiving Resources, as well as on public and social media platforms. Caregivers are invited to share their personal stories, videos and photos to offer hope, foster understanding, build community and break down stigma surrounding caregiving - via a video on social media using the hashtag #WellBeings or via email at wellbeings.org/share-your-story.
