Dr. Gregg Warshaw Quoted in New York Times on Provider Bias Against Older Adults

Hartford grantee, Gregg Warshaw, MD, was quoted in a New York Times piece by Fran Hawthorne on May 9, Talk to Me, Not to My Daughter. "Health professionals are not immune from a certain amount of bias that the older person is not going to understand what you're talking about and it's going to be easier to get the information from the children," Dr. Warshaw said.

Dr. Warshaw has been a long-standing project leader for the Hartford-funded Geriatrics Workforce Policy Studies Center.
