FrameWorks Institute has released a two-pager with evidence-based communications recommendations for sharing the NASEM report, The National Imperative to Improve Nursing Home Quality, with Public Audiences.

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) recently released its much-anticipated report, The National Imperative to Improve Nursing Home Quality: Honoring Our Commitment to Residents, Families, and Staff. In the report, they outline the current state of nursing homes along with several key policy recommendations on how to improve the financing, delivery, and regulation of nursing home care.

As the field continues to share the findings and recommendations of this report, it is important that we frame the issue in a way that builds support and paves the way for transformational policy change. The FrameWorks two-pager provides four evidence-based communications recommendations for sharing the NASEM report. FrameWorks has also released a related report, "Communicating About Nursing Home Care: Findings and Emerging Recommendations."
