Health Affairs Briefing: Advanced Illness and End-of-Life Care

The July 2017 issue of Health Affairs, funded by The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, includes a comprehensive look at challenges in advanced illness and end-of-life care.

This thematic issue will address health policy issues regarding the last stage of life for patients, their families, and providers. The briefing will be held at a forum to feature panels of journal authors presenting their research studies. The issue includes several articles by grantees and partners of The John A. Hartford Foundation, including “A National Strategy for Palliative Care” co-authored by JAHF Sr. Program Officer Amy Berman, with Diane Meier, Anthony Back, Susan Block, Janet Corrigan and R. Sean Morrison.
