NADRC Webinar: Applying the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers to Dementia Programs

NADRC Webinar Applying the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers to Dementia Programs

The National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (NADRC) will host a webinar November 1 on, "Applying the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers to Dementia Programs."

The 2022 National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers was developed to support caregivers of all ages, regardless of where they live or their specific caregiving situation. It includes five overarching goals and 350 corresponding actions, and while these do not address specific populations of caregivers, they can be applied to dementia caregiving.

Webinar participants will hear from Greg Link, Director of the Office of Supportive and Caregiver Services U.S. Administration on Aging Administration for Community Living. He will talk about specific actions dementia-focused organizations and states can take to achieve the National Strategy goals, as well as how to apply the goals to their work supporting caregivers of people living with dementia.
