NASHP Webinar: State Palliative Care Policies and Emerging Innovations
The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) is holding a webinar September 18 on, "State Palliative Care Policies and Emerging Innovations."
Palliative care is team-based care that provides support and relief, usually alongside curative treatment, to those with complex or life-threatening conditions.
This webinar will highlight recent state policies that expand access to palliative care and key takeaways from a new Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) report that spotlights home-based palliative care. A Hawaii state official will also outline developments and advancements to establish a Medicaid state plan benefit for community-based palliative care.
