NBC Universal and Telemundo Summer Segment: Living Your Best Life
The John A. Hartford Foundation partnered with NBC Universal and Telemundo to bring information about age-friendly care directly to consumers in a televised segment aired on July 13 on NYLive and Acceso Total, "Living Your Best Life."
Joelle Garguilo talked with Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, President, and Marcus Escobedo, MPA, Vice President, Communications and Senior Program Officer, of The John A. Hartford Foundation, about what “age-friendly care” is and where you can find it. They explain about asking for what matters to you when you visit your doctor or hospital. What matters is one of the 4Ms of the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility.
The segment was aired on NBC affiliates across the country in English and Spanish.
