New Resources and Opportunities from NIA-AGS Bedside-to-Bench Conference Series
In a special article now available online ahead of print in JAGS, participants in the latest “Bedside-to-Bench” conference have outlined cutting-edge scholarship and recommendations for a future research agenda on delirium in older adults. The publication reflects a synthesis of the “Delirium in Older Adults: Finding Order in the Disorder” conference, the first in a series of three meetings convened by the AGS with support from the National Institute on Aging and the John A. Hartford Foundation on common geriatric syndromes and their patho-physiological features. A second conference will be held in Bethesda, MD on October 4-6, 2015 on "Sleep, Circadian Rhythms, and Aging: New Avenues for Improving Brain Health, Physical Health, and Functioning.”
