      Grant Opportunities

      • National Community Care Corps request for proposals:
        • Organizations are encouraged to apply for 18-month grants to develop and scale innovative nonmedical assistance volunteer programs to support family caregivers, older adults, and adults with disabilities (deadline February 26)
      • The Alzheimer’s Association Center for Dementia Respite Innovation (CDRI) grants:
        • Over the course of five years, the CDRI will award up to $20 million in competitive grants to local respite care providers to improve and increase the delivery of person-centered dementia care, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, outcomes, accessibility, affordability and sustainability (LOIs due March 2)
      • The AARP Community Challenge grants:
        • Nonprofit organizations and governments across the country are encouraged to apply for grants for quick-action projects as part of AARP's Livable Communities initiative. This year, applications are being accepted across three distinct opportunities (flagship grants, capacity-building microgrants and demonstration grants). All projects must meet eligibility criteria and be consistent with AARP’s mission to serve the needs of people 50 and older. (deadline March 4)
      • The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Imbedded Pragmatic Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory grants:
      • Administration for Community Living prize challenge:
        • The Caregiver Artificial Intelligence (AI) Prize Challenge seeks practical and effective ways to use AI to reimagine how technology can improve care quality, reduce burden and strengthen the caregiving infrastructure for the future. The competition will recognize and reward innovators who are developing, testing, and scaling AI-enabled tools across two tracks: for family caregivers and for extending the direct care workforce.       • Network for Investigation of Delirium: Unifying Scientists (NIDUS): 14th Annual 2026 NIDUS Delirium Research Boot Camp: “Researching the Delirium-ADRD Inter-Relationship: Innovation, Translation, Prediction, and Implementation” (June 12-June 14, 2026), University of Colorado (applications due April 6, 2026)
      • E4 Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Disparities in Aging: Foundational Competencies in Older Adult Mental Health Certificate Program. 16-hour self-paced online certificate program for mental health clinicians, this serves as a first step in developing competency in older adult mental health. Developed by the E4 Center, in partnership with CATCH-ON, the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program based at Rush, and the Rush Center for Excellence in Aging.
