Grant Opportunities

  • The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Imbedded Pragmatic Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory grants:
    • 2026 Health Care Systems Scholars Program - Request for Applications. 1-year mentored experience designed to support immersion of mid-career investigators (MD, PhD, or equivalent) within a health care system to foster durable partnerships, advance system-informed research priorities, and lay the groundwork for future embedded pragmatic clinical trials in dementia care (LOIs due April 2)
  • The Jewish Federations’ Center on Aging, Trauma, and Holocaust Survivor Care Innovations Program grants:
    • The Jewish Federations of North America invites organizations to apply for funding to develop innovative, person-centered, trauma-informed (PCTI) services for Holocaust survivors, older adults with a history of trauma, and their family caregivers. Optional informational session (March 30), intent to apply (due April 15), Stage 1 applications (due May 15)
  • Administration for Community Living prize challenge:
    • The Caregiver Artificial Intelligence (AI) Prize Challenge seeks practical and effective ways to use AI to reimagine how technology can improve care quality, reduce burden and strengthen the caregiving infrastructure for the future. The competition will recognize and reward innovators who are developing, testing, and scaling AI-enabled tools across two tracks: for family caregivers and for extending the direct care workforce.       Career Development/Training Opportunities

      • National Institute on Aging: Butler-Williams Scholars Program provides unique opportunities for junior faculty, researchers who are new to the field of aging, and postdoctoral fellows to gain insight about aging research. The program offers a variety of perspectives and includes presentations, seminars, and interactive small group activities and discussions. The 2026 program will be held August 3-6, 2026 in Rockville, Maryland (applications due March 31)
      • Network for Investigation of Delirium: Unifying Scientists (NIDUS): 14th Annual 2026 NIDUS Delirium Research Boot Camp: “Researching the Delirium-ADRD Inter-Relationship: Innovation, Translation, Prediction, and Implementation” (June 12-June 14, 2026), University of Colorado (applications due April 6, 2026)
      • E4 Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Disparities in Aging: Foundational Competencies in Older Adult Mental Health Certificate Program. 16-hour self-paced online certificate program for mental health clinicians, this serves as a first step in developing competency in older adult mental health. Developed by the E4 Center, in partnership with CATCH-ON, the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program based at Rush, and the Rush Center for Excellence in Aging

      Call for Survey Input and for Research Study Participants

      • Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC): Annual 2026 Palliative Pulse Survey. The survey takes the pulse of the palliative care field annually to learn about palliative care professionals' well-being and the health of palliative care teams so CAPC can better support and provide tools
      • Dartmouth College IRB-Approved Study on the Use of Smartphone-based Markers for Early Diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD): Participant Recruitment Support for the RealVision project. The team has developed an app consisting of four tasks that the team hopes will aid in ADRD diagnosis and are recruiting preclinical ADRD patients and cognitively healthy controls to test it. Patients will be compensated $20 for their time. Patients are asked to sign up and the team will follow up with them directly. Once they sign up, they will be sent a secure REDCap survey for eligibility screening, diagnosis confirmation, and baseline information
      • Aging and Disability Business Institute: Sixth CBO–Health Care Contracting Survey. Participate in the Community–Based Organization (CBO)–Health Care Contracting Survey by telling us about your health care contracting experience (extended deadline April 30)

      • The Journal of Advanced Home Medicine (JAHM): New open-access, peer-review journal dedicated to advancing research and commentary on the delivery of acute and advanced medical care at home. Submissions for the journal are open
