NIA IMPACT Collaboratory RFA: Pilot Grants Program Cycle 5A
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) IMbedded Pragmatic Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory has announced a request for applications for their newest Pilot Grants Cycle 5A for researchers interested in designing and conducting pilot studies for embedded pragmatic clinical trials (ePCTs) in dementia care.
The Pilot Grants Program supports research and training to increase the nation’s capacity to conduct ePCTs within healthcare systems to improve care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (AD/ADRD) and their care partners.
This cycle will support up to five one-year awards for pilot ePCTs and for up to $200,000 in direct costs per project. The goal of the pilot projects will be to generate preliminary data necessary to design and conduct a future full-scale Stage IV effectiveness ePCT.
Letters of intent are due March 3.
