Trust for America's Health (TFAH) held a series of weekly calls to discuss access to the COVID-19 vaccine for homebound older adults throughout March and April. You can access the call recordings here.

There are over 2 million older adults and people with disabilities in America for whom access to the COVID-19 vaccine is challenging but who are at high risk for serious illness or death from the virus.

To better understand the challenges, explore potential solutions, and identify innovative vaccine distribution mechanisms, Trust for America’s Health, in partnership with The John A. Hartford Foundation and the Cambia Health Foundation, hosted a series of “Huddle” calls, beginning Wednesday, March 3 and continuing throughout April. These calls were no more than 30 minutes each and provided just-in-time information on innovative practices, as well as a platform for discussion and brainstorming among participants. Practitioners in public health, aging and disability services, and health care organizations, along with advocates and policymakers were welcome to attend.

TFAH has released a one-pager, "COVID-19 Vaccine Access for Older Adults and People with Disabilities Who are Homebound."
