American Society on Aging's Legacy Interviews Features Terry Fulmer
The American Society on Aging interviewed the JAHF President Terry Fulmer as part of the 12-week webcast series titled, "The Legacy Interviews," which started on June 23 and runs through September 8.
The interview, hosted by Dr. Ken Dychtwald, focused on topics about the future of health, medicine, and aging. The conversation reflected on Dr. Fulmer's path to becoming one of the leading voices in geriatrics and her impact on the field of age-friendly care. Dr. Fulmer highlighted what age-friendly care means and how to prioritize the goals and preferences of those receiving care. Looking to the future, Dr. Fulmer also emphasized the need to support family caregivers and eradicate ageism as our population grows older.
