The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative: COVID-19 Links and Resources
The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative (GEDC) has created a resource page for clinicians about geriatric emergency care during the COVID-19 crisis.
While patients of all ages are at risk for infection, older adults continue to be the most vulnerable to consequences of COVID-19.
The web page includes articles, pod casts, and handouts with up-to-date information regarding geriatric emergency care in the time of COVID-19. It is primarily aimed at nurses, doctors, and other clinicians serving older adults in the emergency department.
Included in the resources are two Journal of Geriatric Emergency Medicine articles:
