The Quality of Care in Nursing Homes: Meeting #1 Recording
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) held the first meeting of The Quality of Care in Nursing Homes study November 18-20 with an open session at noon on day 2.
The speaker at the November 19 open session was Don Berwick, MD, MPP, President Emeritus and Senior Fellow, Institute for Healthcare Improvement, who presented on 'Focus on Quality.'
NASEM's Committee on the Quality of Care in Nursing Homes consensus study involves an extensive review of the way in which our nation delivers, regulates, finances and measures quality of nursing home care, including the long-standing challenges brought to light by the COVID-19 pandemic.
