WEBINAR: AACN Hosting "Meeting the Expectations of the Consensus Model: Enhancing Gerontology Cont
According to the Consensus Model for APRN Regulation, all APRNs providing care to the adult population must be prepared to meet the growing needs of the older adult population. In recognition of this requirement, AACN will be hosting this live webinar for faculty teaching in Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) programs that prepare graduates to provide care for populations that include older adults but who are not adult- and/or gerontology APRNs. This webinar will be offered to assist faculty in identifying the competencies, resources, and strategies for enhancing gerontology content in Family, Psychiatric/Mental Health, and Women’s Health APRN programs. Additionally, participants will be provided an opportunity to ask an expert panel questions.
