AARP and JAHF hosted a webinar discussion with healthcare leaders innovating on hospital front lines in support of family caregivers, March 9, titled "How Leading-Edge Health Systems Integrate Family Caregivers."

Family caregivers are doing more complex care at home than ever before. Challenges often exist as these caregivers find themselves navigating a health system. As an often unrecognized yet critical member of the care team, they need support, guidance and instruction. The event heard from a panel of expert leaders who recognize the challenges that family caregivers face and are on the leading-edge, implementing system-wide age-friendly policies and practices to offer more support to family caregivers.
