ACL's Interagency Coordinating Committee on Healthy Aging and Age-Friendly Communities: Seeking Input on the Strategic Framework for a National Plan on Aging
The Administration for Community Living's (ACL) Interagency Coordinating Committee on Healthy Aging and Age-Friendly Communities is seeking input on the Strategic Framework for a National Plan on Aging. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through ACL, released the Strategic Framework in May.
The Interagency Coordinating Committee on Healthy Aging and Age-Friendly Communities (ICC), authorized by the Older Americans Act, seeks to improve coordination across federal agencies to promote healthy aging and age-friendly communities, and is leading the charge to develop a National Plan on Aging.
JAHF, in collaboration with West Health and The SCAN Foundation, are partnering with ACL to support input from both individuals and organizations on the Strategic Framework and key aging issues:
- West Health has created a web page with information about submitting comments by September 15:
