ACS Geriatric Surgery Verification Resource: Financial Cases
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) has published a resource blog with financial case examples, "Hospitals Face Potential Penalties for Noncompliance with CMS's Pay-for-Reporting Requirements."
The financial cases illustrate that up to $3 million is at risk for hospitals not reporting on the CMS Age-Friendly Hospital Measure.
The blog also highlights how the ACS Geriatric Surgery Verification (GSV) Program can help hospitals participating in the CMS Inpatient Quality Reporting Program (IQR) comply with the pay-for-reporting measure.
