Ashley’s experience in a variety of advocacy roles makes her a source of inspiration and information for all of us who work to improve the lives of older adults. Her national, state, and local advocacy roles include being the staff director on the Senate HELP Committee’s Subcommittee on Primary Health and Aging under Senator Bernie Sanders; leading OWL, the Voice of Women 40+; serving as a long-term care ombudsman; and directing federal policy efforts for Compassion & Choices.
