Age-Friendly Health Systems Electronic Health Record Resource: Oracle/Cerner Implementation Guide
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) has released an Implementation Guide one-pager, "Electronic Health Record (EHR) Resources for Age-Friendly Health Systems: Oracle," and an updated EHR Implementation Guide with Oracle (Cerner) Examples.
These EHR resource guides - on the Age-Friendly Health Systems (AFHS) resources page - are among several AFHS EHR Implementation Guides:
- Guide to EHR Requirements for Adoption of the 4Ms: An Implementation Guide for Health Systems with Oracle Examples: designed as a resource for health systems to build the 4Ms, and associated care practices, into the electronic health record (EHR). The general guidance is not specific to a particular EHR vendor; however, specific suggestions and examples are provided that apply to the Oracle/Cerner platform
- EHR Resources for AFHS: Oracle: one-pager summarizes current standard Oracle/Cerner 4Ms content, including links for those with Oracle/Cerner log in credentials
- Video: Overview of Oracle 4Ms EMR Health Resources from Cerner summarizing all current 4Ms content and how to access it
- EHR Implementation Guide with Epic Examples
- Epic Implementation Guide one-pager
- EHR Implementation Guide with PointClickCare Examples
The Oracle Health EHR content is tailored for various care settings, such as adult acute care, ambulatory care and behavioral health. Also included are instructions for configuring Age-Friendly Worklists and MPage Components within the EHR to support the 4Ms Framework. An active Oracle Health Millennium is necessary to access materials.
