Aging and Disability Business Institute Webinar: Advancing Rural Health Transformation - The Role of the Aging Network
USAging's Aging and Disability Business Institute, in partnership with ATI Advisory, is holding a webinar April 23 on "Advancing Rural Health Transformation: The Role of the Aging Network."
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that all 50 states received awards under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), a federal funding initiative established to strengthen and modernize health care in rural communities across the country.
The webinar will showcase the role of and opportunities for the aging network to support states’ RHTP initiatives and will focus the lens on the community level. Speakers will:
- Translate high-level RHTP policy and state activity into practical, actionable insights for Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Community Care Hubs (CCHs)
- Highlight current “bright spots” where aging network organizations are already engaged
- Identify gaps and opportunities for greater AAA/CBO/CCH involvement in state initiatives and to help states meet their program goals
- Elevate the role of the aging network in achieving RHTP goals and improving care for rural older adults
- Gather input from participants to inform future technical assistance and support needs
