USAging's Aging and Disability Business Institute is hosting a webinar January 31 on, "The Role of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Improving Health Care Quality Metrics."
With increased attention on healthcare quality and performance metrics from health plans, understanding health plan contracting targets is critical to informed health plan contracting strategy. Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) and CBOs with an interest in partnering with healthcare organizations and/or health plans may seek to understand how to align their services with healthcare metrics.
This webinar will provide guidance on how healthcare quality and performance standards can inform aging and disability-focused AAAs and CBOs on new opportunities to engage with healthcare delivery systems. Sharon Williams of Williams Jaxon Consulting will discuss which metrics are important for health plans, how the services that AAAs and CBOs provide can impact these measures, and how they can use this information to make pitches to health care organizations.
