The American Hospital Association (AHA) will be holding an AHA Team Training webinar on August 9th, 2023 from 12:00pm-1:00pm ET on "Healthy Aging: Leveraging Interdisciplinary Collaboration to Create Age-Friendly Health Systems."

The webinar will focus on the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative and the impact and outcomes of the 4Ms Framework - what Matters, Medication, Mentation and Mobility.

Join speakers Tru Byrnes, DNP, RN, CNL, GERO-BC, CMSRN from Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and Mercy Kern, MSN, NEA-BC from Atrium Health Mercy to learn how they tracked data and used the skillsets of their teams to provide reliable 4Ms care to older adults.

Learning objectives include:

  • Assess the need for health systems to become Age-Friendly
  • Learn about the Age-Friendly Health Systems movement and how the 4Ms Framework (what matters, medications, mobility, and mentation) can be applied to a care setting
  • Review the progress and challenges of the initiative at a site and hear about how your organization can become involved
