Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles Wins Caregiving Legacy Award

We are very pleased to congratulate Debra Cherry and Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles for being one of the recipients of the 2016 Rosalinde Gilbert Innovations in Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiving Legacy Award.

This award is given by The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation and the Family Caregiver Alliance to recognize innovators in the advancement of caregiving for Alzheimer’s disease, and will be presented on March 22nd at the Aging in America conference.

Alzheimers's Greater Los Angeles is receiving the award for their Dementia Cal MediConnect project, which was promoted for dissemination by The John A. Hartford Foundation Change AGEnts Dementia Caregiving Network.

The CMS Office of Medicare and Medicaid Coordination have issued an Informational Bulletin on dementia care for California as a result of the project.
